- (surfing) Said of challenging surfing conditions or a challenging wave, and meaning that highly-respected waterman Eddie Aikau (1946-1978) would take it on (go out in such conditions or surf such a wave). Used as an encouragement for one to do the same, or as a general comment on difficulty or danger.
