Ganesha
- a Hindu God of intellect and wisdom, son of Parvati and Shiva. He is the husband of Bharati, Riddhi, and Siddhi. He is also known as the Remover of Obstacles, Lord of education, prudence, luck and fortune, gates, doors, doorways, household and writing. Ganesha is represented with a head of a one-tusked elephant, four arms, and is usually accompanied by a mouse. He can also be described as a God of Beginnings, as he is usually the god who is invoked before any other god at ceremonies and before any work. Ganesha is also known as the writer of Mahabharata.
