Language indexes

Language indexes refer to a series of pages in the form [[Wiktionary:Language index]]. They will be most often used for lists of words from the specified language.

For languages where the lists become very large, please begin to segment the list using a suitable alphabetical breakdown in the form [[Wiktionary:Language index n]].

These are to be distinguished from "Appendix:" pages which focus on the topic of the entry.

Although these pages are now considered as being in a pseudo-namespace, the community has agreed for them to be given full namespace status.

Language indexes should be tagged with [[Category:Language indexes]] (or the appropriate sub-category). This will cause them to be automatically included in this list.
