- Mastery; powerful medical influence; renowned efficacy; a sovereign remedy.
- A magisterial injunction.
- (chemistry) A precipitate; a fine substance deposited by precipitation; applied in old chemistry to certain white precipitates from metallic solutions; as, magistery of bismuth.
