Etymology

Coined in 2002, apparently by John P. Beckley as a homophone of Kwanzaa with seven distinct letters.

Noun

QUONZAH

  1. A heptagon used as a reminder of the seven tenets of Kwanzaa.
  2. A design or sculpture featuring this heptagon as a motif, for the same purpose.
  3. Each design is referred to as QUONZID.
