vegetarian (plural vegetarians)
- A person or animal who does not eat any animal products; one who consumes only vegetable and inorganic matter (e.g., water); vegan; herbivore.
- A person whose diet excludes animal flesh, but may include food that can be produced from a living animal without causing death or undue suffering (such as eggs, honey, and dairy products); lacto-ovo vegetarian.
