Zip drive (plural Zip drives)

1. (Computing) A storage device, similar to a floppy disk drive but using disks with a much larger capacity. (100, 250, or 750 MB, compared to a normal floppy disk capacity of 1.44 MB)

Zip is a trademark of the Iomega Corporation, and is normally written with an initial capital letter.
