zodiac
- (astronomy): A belt-like region in the sky that includes the apparent path of the sun, moon, and planets. It extends approximately eight degrees north and south of the ecliptic and is divided into 12 equal parts, each of which is named after a constellation.
- (astrology): The twelve signs, or houses, of the zodiac. Each sign corresponds to one of the constellations along the zodiac.
- A circle decorated with the signs of the zodiac.
